Imagine what YOU can achieve! IKZ - 2009 "I found Tracy absolutely wonderful as well as highly competent and professional and have recommended her to colleagues and others." JS - 2009 "I thorougly enjoyed my time with Tracy, she is absolutely fantastic. It was a very hard time for me and I wouldn't have had any idea what to do without her huge support and insight. She is amazing at her job but also a lovely positive person."
GN - 2009 "Thank you to Tracy for a very thought-provoking Career Coaching. It was really too short for me as time did not permit me to cover other aspects it flowed on to. Tracy gave me insightful things to consider towards such planning."
RK - 2008 "I would like to take this opportunity to Thank you and Tracy for your on-going help and support during the difficult Redundancy period at xxx. I really found the 'Career Analysts Career Transition Programme' very useful, in particular the excellent advice that I was given on Job Searching, Recruitment Agencies, creating a well-tailored CV, Interview Skills and the Online Assessments. A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to: Tracy Keith (Career Coach), who was responsible for my career coaching at the time. She did an absolutely wonderful job in helping me find the right position that met my specific requirements. I found Tracy to be a very thorough, well-spoken, well organised coach. She had an extremely professional yet friendly approach. She gave me step-by-step instructions, methods and advice on how to find a new job / new career that was right for me. And as a result, her efforts payed off tremendously as I was selected for the job that I really wanted."
MC - 2008 "I was a client of Tracy Keith until early this year and throughout the 14 sessions of coaching I experienced with her, I always felt that she demonstrated the highest competency. She consistently modelled the Results coaching skills with skill and elegance and I was especially impressed by her ability to listen and question respectfully and without judgement. This allowed me to find my own solutions to the challenges that arose. My feedback for Tracy is almost entirely positive and it was quite difficult to identify any specific area for her improvement, those that I did find were trivial enough to hardly warrant mentioning. In a nutshell there were some minor observations about the preparation of coaching paperwork and in retrospect I felt that she could have pushed me a little bit harder. She certainly played a key role in my success with some key goals in my life and I will definitely keep her in mind if I were to need a coach in future." LS - 2007 "I worked with Tracy from November 2007 to January 2008 and the experience has changed my life. I thought goal setting was about setting yourself high goals by working intensively and aggressively with someone to achieve those goals in the shortest timeframe possible. My journey with Tracy was remarkably different and I will be forever grateful. Tracy has an uncanny ability to uncover behaviours, thoughts and feelings that you don’t even know are there. We started with setting my priorities and choosing three areas for work. For me these were 1. getting my property business sorted out 2. getting a CD of my singing produced and 3. being a ‘size 12’. I achieved all three goals – however the work on my thoughts and feelings was the most precious. Not only am I a size 12, but I no longer have an aversion or hatred of food. Not only did I produce a CD, but I now have the confidence and belief in my singing to do anything – including just getting an audition for NZ’s Got Talent 2008!. And not only did I sort my property business out – but my attitude and relationship with my business partner. Tracy helped me see that my general approach to life was such a fast and frantic thing – that I was missing half of it. In everything I do now – I take time to smell the roses – and she helped me build some great life long techniques for doing this. She also worked with me on my beliefs about where this over zealous behaviour came from. I was terrified (although I didn’t know it at the time) that I would end up like my father (manic depressive), however Tracy introduced the concept of learned behaviour as opposed to genetics. It was a major breakthrough. At our final session when she read back to me my journey over the 12 weeks, I cried for the girl I started out as. I am now who I am supposed to be. This was much more than achieving three goals, I have changed from the core and I write this with tears in my eyes thinking about the wonderful life before me. Areas of development for Tracy – this is a difficult one… perhaps that she puts so much of herself into it – far more than I would expect in terms of dollar return – I sometimes wondered if she had time for her." Feedback from 3 Wellington based professionals, 2007 and 2008 1. What were you expecting to get from the coaching programme? • I was looking for a new direction and assistance in finding a new position. • Career help, help getting my life better organised and more on track. • To identify some personal goals and set a path towards achieving these. 2. Where these expectations identified in question one realised / and or exceeded? • I think that they largely were. Some aspects I don’t think were as useful for me, but was good to ask myself questions that I hadn’t asked myself in many years. • Expectations were more than exceeded. 3. What did you enjoy most about the coaching programme and/or find most useful?
• Asking things about myself – questioning the way I did things. • Taking stock each month. Prompts to see if goals had been achieved. Honest opinions. Help finding my 'dream job'. The most useful part of the coaching was the regular input and check-ups from the coach. As time progressed each session’s targets were extended which resulted in more work to reach these targets. I consider this was an excellent approach as it extends the student beyond their normal comfort zone. The coach was also very willing to make suggestions which at time did not appear to be a direct path to the goal; but did ensure that I explored many possible avenues and also ensured that I thought outside the square. 4. Were there any aspects of the coaching that you didn’t like or thought could be improved?
• Was over all very good and worthwhile. • 'Clearing the space' isn't really my kind of thing. Sometimes I found by thinking about all the things you were trying to set aside, they actually were now in your mind. • I thoroughly enjoyed the entire coaching process and there have been many positive spin offs since. I would not change anything in the coaching process, however looking back it would have been interesting to see the results had I concentrated on only one goal instead of multiple goals. 5. What did you learn about yourself / or would like to acknowledge yourself for?
• That old dogs can learn new tricks. • Firstly I would like to acknowledge that I invested some time and money into me as a person and for once considered myself first instead of other people. The greatest revelation of the coaching process is that dreams can become reality and you can achieve anything you desire by setting realistic goals and working through them. 6. What specific feedback would you like to give Tracy?
• Was very happy with Tracy and will recommend her to others – great communicator. • Tracy, you are an inspiration, I can't tell you how good the coaching sessions made me feel about myself, the results far exceeded my expectations. I was amazed at the flow on effect in all areas of my life not just in achieving the goals. HG - 2006 "I will be leaving Treasury soon and their obligation is at an end. Funny because the coaching you gave helped me make a decision to consider the opportunity at xxxx, and then weigh up a secondment or a complete job change; whereas I may well have stayed on to enhance my 'bona fides' if I had not seriously looked at my own values and aptitudes. I think the comment you made about doing something that allows me to use my creativity crystalised things for me, but I also was ready to take another leap, because I have grown more confident that, gee, I still have contribution to make and I do alight upon issues or have insights that sometimes escape others for a time. But I still have on-going work to do using, among other things, the tools you gave me. Thank you for your unfailing confidence in me and for the coaching." LS - 2005 "Goal Setting with Tracy has been fantastic. I am a very pragmatic person and the approach she uses is very sensible - she is there with you every step of the way. She can read people really well. One of my goals was public singing. I had to combat massive stage fright - then in February 2005 I sang at my own wedding. It was fantastic! I am now on my way to recording and hopefully will get paid to sing! She also helped my shed a few kilos so I looked radiant in my size 12 wedding dress - but more than that - our goal was for me to 'feel' fantastic on the day - and I did! It was the best day of my life so far. I would and will be recommending her to anyone who is contemplating fast tracking something or some area of their life." LP - 2005 "Have you ever had that feeling that there was so much more that that you could accomplish, but either never got around to doing it, or had no idea how to navigate yourself there? When I crossed a milestone birthday recently, I took this opportunity to take stock of what I wanted out of life and where I was going. After much apprehension, I had my first (and what I thought would be my only) meeting with Tracy . All I wanted was advice on a study choice, but now I find myself achieving goals that 3 months ago I never even dreamed of." "Tracy challenged me to stop looking at the reasons that in the past have prevented me from doing the things I have secretly always wanted to. Instead she encouraged me to define precisely what it was that I wanted and to focus on taking do-able steps everyday in achieving my goals. I've discovered that most of the answers to many hard questions I knew all along, it just took someone objective and open-minded to pull them out of me. Very rarely has she dictated answers and she's been more than supportive of the choices I've made." "One of the greatest benefits I have had from this working relationship has been the fact that she hasn't formed pre-conceived ideas about me from years of familiarity. It's been especially liberating sharing the plans, dreams and goals of your life with someone who does not judge you based on your previous experiences and (perceived) failures. As a result I am more balanced, healthy and focused than I have been in years." "I have a firm grip on my relationships with myself, my family, my body and my career. We haven't solved the mystery of the meaning of life and the universe, but now I know more about the mystery of my life. And I know that should I need advice or support to achieve my aspirations – no matter how trivial or ambitious – Tracy is just a phone call away." NS - 2005 "Thankyou for the time and energy you put into getting me into, and then through, your terrific coaching program. The coaching experience completely exceeded what I thought I would get out of it. The results you helped me to achieve for my three goals during the course were fantastic, and I have found that the way you taught me to think about planning the different areas of my life, have allowed me to achieve things that I thought were many years away from being completed. After completing your three month coaching program I have continued to develop my goals, and using the tools you gave me, have seen ongoing results which have made a big difference to both my personal life and career. Your coaching program helped me to: Understand and achieve life balance Plan and develop overall wellbeing Plan for a long term career path Motivate me into tertiary study Develop the vision, and tools to successfully challenge my employer for a new role Increase the results I achieve at work
I would be happy to discuss the benefits I have experienced since going through your coaching course, with anyone who may be thinking of doing the same themselves. There will be a great many people out there who would enjoy the experience as much as I did." Want to experience the excitement and challenge of realising your potential and living your dreams?
