Career Coaching with TMK Consulting

What Is Career Coaching?

Career coaching is an ongoing relationship, which focuses on you taking action toward the realisation of your visions, goals or desires. Career coaching uses a process of inquiry and personal discovery to build your level of awareness and responsibility and provides you with structure, support and feedback.

The career coaching process helps you both define and achieve professional and personal career goals faster and with more ease than would be possible otherwise.

Career coaching opens the mind to alternatives, new thinking, solutions and different ways of approaching situations.

Specific Career Coaching Areas Include:

  • Energising your career
  • Maximising opportunities within your current workplace
  • Uncover and embark on a new vocation
  • Selling yourself with vigour and integrity
  • Accelerate your career path
  • Rebuilding your confidence
  • Interview techniques
  • Preparing for performance reviews
  • Negotiating your true value
  • Planning for retirement
  • Goal setting and career path development
  • CV creation
  • CV refresher

How Is the Career Coaching Structured?

The time commitment for career coaching is dependent on the level of change you are looking to make. Career coaching sessions take place every week for 1 hour at a time. You will also need to allow time to work on your own. On average, the career coaching process takes between 6-12 weeks.

Also included in the career coaching series package are brief mid week catch-ups by phone or email to ensure you are on track with the actions you set as homework for the week. You can also contact me by email as often as necessary.
