We are excited to announce that Dress for Success Wellington in association with Kirkcaldie & Stains are holding our inaugural Mother’s Day High Tea at the exclusive and stunning Premier House in Thorndon, home to New Zealand’s Prime Minister, on the 9th of May 2010.

This is an affair not to be missed and we would love for you to attend along with your mum, mother-in-law, grandmother or a special lady in your life.

Guests will be entertained by Wellington Mezzo Soprano Mrs Rebecca Shepherd accompanied by Mr Hugh McMillan; and enjoy a traditional Kirkcaldie & Stains high tea with scones with jam & cream, sandwiches, bite-sized cakes and adventurous cups of tea from Wellington’s t leaf T.

To compliment the occasion every mother in attendance will be presented with a Jacqueline's Florist corsage to complete her outfit. There are also some wonderful prizes for “best dressed grandmother”, “best dressed mother & daughter” and “best hat”.

Dress for Success is a not-for-profit organisation helping women in need find employment and become economically independent. We do this by providing them with free, professional and high quality attire to wear to their job interview, as well as providing a network of support and career development tools.

To survive we rely entirely upon volunteer support, grants and donations. At present we do not receive any funding from the Government or from the agencies with whom we work.
